I was here

10/13/2011

Just the Beginning....for sure.

Just like the day of the first concert...I woke up late.

I met Bianca in Ipanema and I drove to Engenhão. In the way to there we found a guy selling Flamengo's flag. As a Flamenguista I had to take a picture with Bieber and Flamengo. We bought the flag (ugly one).

It took forever to find and get the wristband to meet Justin. As we were waiting for it a reporter from Globo News interviewed us....:

After that we ran into the stadium and waited for an hour at least to meet Justin Bieber. We were in a line, a special one...inside of the backstage. I got to meet and talk to lots of Bieber's crew there.

I even talked to Bruce (Justin's granpa) about how wonderful Justin is...and how great his heart is.

And then...and then...and then....we got to meet Justin Bieber himself.

As we got in the room to meet him..I pulled a pen and hold it into my hands. I remember talking a lot with Justin Bieber. I told him that he was very talented and special. I told him that I was a senior for Bieber...and I was representing Moms 4 Bieber in Brazil. I told him that we are helping his father Jeremy with his charity in Canada. I asked him to be his OLLG in the name of Moms 4 Bieber (of course it didn't happen). I don't recall what I really said to him. I was so nervous that I all can remember is that TALKED TO MUCH hahahaha Thank you @Moms4Bieber1 too.

I asked him to sign my t-shirt...and he did. I hugged and kissed him twice. He was so kind and nice to us. My flag was upside-down and the crew told me to fix it for the picture.

After we left...I could not believe I just met him. It was so quick..so wonderful..so amazing.

When I was in the there I met Scooter, Alfredo, Bruce, Scrappy, Dan, The guy from Israel, Kenny and even his teacher.

When I tought it couldn't be better than that Justin Bieber sang HOW TO LOVE...

I can put down in words what really was the whole experience with Justin Bieber in Brazil.

All I can say is that I will never forget about that.

Never forget anything that happened in this days. Never forget all the people who helped me and I helped back.

Much love is giving back.

Much love is sharing.

Much love is caring.

Thank you, thank you and thank you for this and that!

Some memories from the special day:

THANK YOU ALL.

Welcome to My World.....thank you Justin Bieber.

I got home from the first Justin Bieber's concert. I had no voice at all...and I was so excited that couldn't stop talking about it with my husband.

My then I remembered that I didn't win the contest for Oct 5th...but I still had chances to Oct 6th and Oct 9th.

So I checked my email. Had to made a stop of out the talking....and just checked the freaking email.

I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT MY EYES WERE SEEING.

I won the contest to meet Justin Bieber. Do you have any idea what is that for a Belieber? Yeah I know you do...I was freaaaaaaaaakinggggg dying because of this email:

I promised Bianca Sacks (@bieberbraziil that she's coming with me if I'd win for the Oct 6th. So after all the jumping and screaming I called Bianca to tall her that I won..and we were going to meet Justin Bieber.

She was dying on the phone..me and her could not believe in that. It's so many people dreaming about that. Be we were about to meet him.

The boy who taught us to never say never, to never give up on our dreams.

The Start of a New Life....

The day of Justin Bieber in Brazil  arrived.

On October 4th I took my car and decided to go to Engenhão to see how has the line and the fans there. I could find where I was going to enter the stadium. As I said before I have metal in my hips so I could not stand on the line at all.

I met wonderful people there..spent like an hour talking to fans who were there for days. I made sure they were safe and had enough food.

I left the stadium headed to Copacabana Palace, I knew that Justin and some of his crew were there...and I wanted to just pass by the hotel...I was not willing to stay there....

But at the time I got there I found a park in front of the hotel..so I jumped in the crew that were screaming Justin Bieber's name.

I was there screaming too..as Scooter Braun and Carin showed at the balcony of the hotel. I ran into the crowd and got them to wave for me. Then I left because Justin was already off from there...

As I got home I sent a tweet to Carin and Scooter telling them that I just saw both of them in the hotel. And Carin RT me.

Yeah I was soooo excited just because of that.

And..Oct 5th came.

I woke up so late because I could not sleep at all in the night before. So excited. I took a shower and my car and headed to Engenhão.

When I got there around 13:00 I met Rayssa Ribeiro and we took off to the line...and the thing happened to me. I had 2 extra tickets for the best places in the concert that I was willing to give to fans in the line. But as I got there late...I had to do this (not going to write all again...but it's worthy to read it):

The best thing that ever happened to me.

When Justin Bieber was on the stage I was soooo happy..could not stop singing and jumping. I was in the front line with all this amazing fans...sharing the food, the water and the love.

It was a day to forever be on my mind...

The concert was amazing. Everything was amazing...but it was only the first day....after the show I went home...and the a amazing new was going to hit me.

Me and Rayssa Ribeiro (@TeamOurBieber)

The Stratford Star...to star in Brazil....

Justin Bieber is from a very small town...and now he was coming to perform in Brazil. WOW!

Nothing better than coming to Brazil to perform is to get to know the best places in Brazil.

So I asked to fans who wanted tickets to do a collage with the best tourist places in Brazil. Lots of cool collages came to me.

http://twitpic.com/6osh2a

And the best was from @JustinMyBreathe (Ana Clara):

Beautiful, right?

I didn't get the chance to meet her too. As I said I couldn't go to this concert in São Paulo. But she said that was amazing...and yes I changed her life.

It felt to so good to help others to have their dream coming true..

But it's not just that...there's more....

A Secret Musician....the best side of Justin Bieber.

When I saw myself with tickets left I could sell them. I could make good money with this tickets, because they were SOLD OUT in Brazil. Justin Bieber sold more than 100.000 tickets in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. With only 2 concerts...2 out of 5. Wow!

But as a Belieber I know how great Justin Bieber's heart is. He doesn't think about himself only. Every move that he takes he helps someone in his way. It's all about giving back with this kid. And I really got that for me.

I live much love. Much love is about caring, loving and sharing. Right?

I got an idea...I met so many Boybeliebers on twitter and Orkut that couldn't afford the tickets either. So I decided to donate 1 ticket for a boy and the other one to a girl. So it would be fair, for me.

The boybeliebers had to answear the question: What would you say to Justin Bieber if you could meet him?

http://twitpic.com/6nf9um

The best answer was from @boylieberBR2 (Márcio Jr.) : " I would say that everything I have to get trough because I'm a boybelieber is given back to me with happiness. Everytime I get to see him performing, everytime I listen to his song..it comes back to me. He taught me to Never Say Never"

So I called Marcio's mother. She was so sweet and I talked to him on the phone. He was crying and saying thank you all the time. He calls me Angel Erika. Nice, right?

I didn't get the chance to meet Marcio. He went to the concert in São Paulo (Oct 8th) but I wasn't there...but anyway he told me was the best day of his life...so I pretty happy that everything worked for him. And for me. And for everybody.

But still got 1 ticket left....

Let's Get This Show on the Road...for everyone.

As a member of bieberfever.com I could buy 4 tickets on pre-sale for Justin Bieber's concerts in Brazil.

Ok. I called my mom and asked her for money to buy some tickets (yeah I'm 26 and my mom is 47 and I asked her that). I mean some tickets because I had a Metal-on-Metal total hips arthroplasty in 2009 and couldn't go to the concert by myself. So my husband was going with me. I bought 6 tickets. I wanted to go to his 2 concerts in Rio and 1 in São Paulo. I'm a Belieber I told you that in the beginning. I'm not working because I had a surgery and now I have 2 more metals in me..but in my shoulder now. Yeah, I am a robot. So I don't get paid because I am home. So I had to ask my mom for money.

So, everything was set to go to Bieber's concert. My husband was going with me and that was it. NOT. As my husband doesn't like Bieber (he respects him and me) I thought it would be better if I could find someone who really likes Bieber to come with me.

And then trough the twitter I could find lots of Beliebers and Boybeliebers to be with me in the concert...so I would not be alone.

BINGO! I found many, many, many fans that were able to come with me. So my husband was out of the play now...but I had 3 tickets left...so I decided to donate.

Let's find someone who couldn't afford for the tickets to Justin Bieber's concert in Brazil.

Let's get this on...

I created a community in Orkut and asked people to join it. But I had 1 rule..ONLY PEOPLE WHO COULD NOT AFFORD FOR THE TICKETS. They had to tell me their story telling me why they could not buy the tickets.

More than 700 stories of fans that really believe in Never Say Never and were trying to do EVERYTHING to go to this concert. The stories are not that cool. They made me sad a lot I couldn't believe I was going to help only 2 of them. I mean 2...because I met Rayssa Ribeiro (@TeamOurBieber) on twitter...and she told that she wasn't going to Bieber's concert...because she could not afford that. She was the first I met on twitter..and the first one that I was sure that I was helping.

It wasn't me that I was going to choose the one with the best story or whatever. I did randomly and 2 girls won.

But after I called their mother and everything was good to go, I mean..they won tickets for Bieber's concert...I talked to their mom..their were pretty happy....but in the end both of theirs mothers didn't let them to go. They did not believe that I was real. I can get that, I mean...I'm 26 now...and NEVER saw this girls...it was everything by internet. If I had a son or a daughter of 13 or so, I would not let them go either. It's no easy to believe in people if good heart. I understand that.

So I looked at myself with 2 tickets left still....but then I got an idea!

The community (it's in portuguese...but if you really want..you can put on google translate):

I also have to say that bieberfeverbrasil.com always help me with everything. They really helped me to donate this tickets for good people. Thank you.

First Step 2 Forever: My Story

It was in New York, June 12, 2010.  When all it started...

I was 24 and my husband 35 and we were ready to rock the "Big Apple" when he asked me to marry him. Yeah, I had to tell this in my story because it's one day I will never forget in my life...I got to "know" Justin Bieber and....I got asked to marry the lofe of my life....in New York. How cool is that?

Well, back to the story....we were walking the shining streets of New York and I couldn't understand why they had SO MANY pictures, and magazines, and radios playing this crazy song called "baby" by a young, I mean VERY YOUNG boy called Justin Bieber. I've never heard of him before New York.

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I play drums since I was 12 and my husband used to be a bass player in a punk/rock band. I love all kind of music...and I was a Hanson fan...a HUGE FAN..I started playing drums because of Zac Hanson....so..that boy called Justin Bieber got me into a kind of trouble.

As soon as I got my feet in Rio...I googled Justin Bieber and then he got me. The Bieber Fever was in me.

I started looking for everything about him...I bought his cds, his book, I went to the movies with my mom and my husband to watch Never Say Never, I bought the blu-ray of the movie, and then another cd...and a t-shirt...and another t-shirt...and lots of things. I entered the bieberfever.com the official fan club..yeah man, this is crazy.

After a year and half waiting for Justin Bieber come to Brazil...it was announced that his My World Tour was back..and he was going to do 5 concerts in Brazil.

I was so excited. Wow...Justin Bieber in Brazil? Really?

So I created a twitter account for me. @SeniorForBieber it is.

Then...I really got to know what is Bieber Fever.

This video is from 2010...can't recall the date.
